Monument Inn on 12/28/2007

I stayed in the hotel in July 2007. I was in the lower level front rooms. I woke up with bites all over my body including my face. It was terrible feeling and looking. They itched really bad! I told the front desk about the incident and they said \"oh\". This is a disgusting hotel and extremely unsafe.

Rooms having insect infestation are motel wide especially the upstairs front rooms and the extended stay rooms. The Monument Inn has had a long history of BED BUG and COCKROACH infestation over the past 18 months. The motel also has a reputation for DRUGS (methamphetamine) and crime. Mesa County releases convicted felons and sex offenders to the motel when they are released from jail.
