My 5 year old son had 30 bites on his body after just one night at this Hotel. This was Dec. 27th 2011. The mng assured us they had new mattresses, etc, but I don't think that matters at this point. They clearly have a case of begbugs in room 244.
I am still, weeks later, waiting on a so-called inspection report. They told me they would close off the room and move people out that were already booked to occupy this room, but I have heard nothing back on whether bedbugs were discovered. I am cal
ling today and hoping someone will be forthcoming about the bedbugs, because we are 99$ certain they came from our room there.

This is a NEGATIVE REPORT, meaning we are staying at this hotel and there is no indication whatsoever of bed bugs. The date is 6th July 2011.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful, historic hotel on 3/27/10 and 3/28/10. On 3/28, I woke up a bit itchy, but I attributed it to the somewhat low-grade linens. We packed up to drive back to Denver and, it wasn't until we were well on the road, that I realized there was a welt on my left forearm where I had been itching. It looked like a mosquito bite, and so I attributed it to that, despite the early season.
When I arrived at home, I stripped to take a shower and happened to glance
in the mirror on my way. I saw three large welts under my left shoulder and three medium welts on my right shoulder blade. Upon further inspection, I discovered four more bumps surrounding my left elbow. I've seen photos of bed bug bites online. I knew almost immediately what they were.
My doctor diagnosed them today as bed bug bites, in fact, citing the typical "breakfast, lunch, dinner" pattern. The hotel, so far, has been a bit slow to respond (the managers have taken several days to respond to calls), but today I spoke with a manager who assures me that my stay will be comped and that, if any infestation in my or my boyfriend's apartments occurs, they will pay for extermination. I have not received any further bites here at home, so I may have avoided that horror (knock on wood!).
The room we stayed in was 354. The manager assured me that the room is currently out of order and that a company will be in on Monday to officially identify the infestation.

The Hotel Colorado is infested with hundreds of bed bugs. We stayed in room 410 from June 27 through 29. We were all feasted upon one of us had a major allergic reaction - without it we would not have known. Management was very flip about it and is not returning my calls.
