I'd like to follow up to this past guest's response since Bed Bugs are being reported on a lot in the news today. We did have this room tested by Orkin and no bed bugs were found. Nor did we have any further complaints regarding any cases of bed bugs.

Approximately two months ago I stayed at the St. Julien. I awoke to an itching sensation around my torso. I had three days of welts itching etc. Without a doubt, I was bitten by bedbugs(confirmed by 2 professionals). I took pictures of the bites. I called the hotel, which until then, was a favorite of mine, to inform them of the problem. They quickly denied it (even though the room had not been tested yet), and promised to send me results showing no bedbugs....the report never came.

hey should consider using a fitted bedsheet around the mattress rather than merely a mattress sheet.
The St.Julien management should have been more sympathetic to a guest when they were told of the problem rather than being aggressive.
After all, I did not request any unwanted visitors in my room!
