Stayed at the Double Tree Fees Parker in early May 2011. After the first night, I started itching all over really bad. I thought maybe it is a sun allergy. The next day I woke up and the itch increased. When I got home the discomfort continued. It has been three weeks and I have bed bug bites all over my back. I have obviously taken it home with me also. Will be contacting the hotel today but I doubt anything will be done.

We were at the Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara, Ca.in September; and were suppose to stay 5 nights. On our second night we had a bedbug appear. I called the front desk and told them I found a "bedbug" and is there someone who is qualified to comfirm it, that this is a serious situation to me!!! She said Oh yes I will send her up she is trained in identifying them. Two girls come up from housekeeping and they say yes they are bedbugs and start scratching themselves and telli
ng up what they are called in Mexico. This is 10:00 at night and we live 5 1/2 hours away and I didn't want to go to another room so we packed up and blew out of there. If it happens again I will march right down to the front desk in front of everyone; better way to handle it. On the way home I am talking to the manager, I want my pints added back to my Hilton account. The next day when I talk to security, thats who handles this, NOW IT IS NOT A BEDBUG....GO FIGURE!!!! MY STORY..
