I stayed at the Best Western Orange County Airport earlier this year and was bitten all over my arm. I checked the mattress before I laid down on the bed but did not see anything. But after I laid down and turned on the tv, a few minutes later, I saw a bug crawling across one of the pillows! When I killed it, it had engorged itself with my own blood, which spilt onto the pillow case! The bites took place during the afternoon when I was awake.
