Back in 2004 I witnessed bed mattress' left outside in the sun. When I asked what was going on the owners said they had bed bugs in the mattress and the best way to get rid of them was to leave the mattress' out in the sun to dry out the bugs. They blamed the infestation on the foreign couple that had recently stayed in the room. The couple who had the room after them were the ones to complain about the bugs. Nothing more was said about it.
