In response to the Anonymous report 7/14/2011:

After this guest explained her suspicions to our Staff on July 13, 2011, we immediately called in our very reputable Pest Control Company, Dewey Pest Control, and their technician Gary reported from that inspection that "There were absolutely no signs of bed bugs."
We had another inspection on August 25, 2011, and that report reads: "Conducted a thorough Inspection of Room and found no evidence of bed bugs whatsoever."

We stayed in room 22 on July 12, 2011 and the next day I found 3 bites, one near each arm pit and one on my inner thigh. These bites were different than mosquito or no-see-um bites and were in places that were covered during our 24h visit to SF, so I suspect they are from bed bugs (they look like photos of such bites). The rest of my family did not have bites. I called the Inn to report it and they mentioned they had just put a new mattress in that room, which is a clue that they are battling a
