Stayed in Tower 3, forget the room number, but it was a new room. Woke up to splatted blood on sheet under my arm and back of my arm was bitten badly. Called security the next day about it, they did nothing about it.

I stayed at this hotel Oct 22, 2013. Now I know to check the beds in the room as soon as you get there for any signs! I went to bed and woke up in at about 1 am itchy got out of bed and had huge welts on my arm - pulled back the sheets and saw one. I immediately called security who came to the room to file a report. They checked the room and moved me to another room for the night and we did a visible check in the bed there. Needless to say I had little sleep with work events at 7 am the followin

g morning. The hotel contacted me the following day telling me the room tested positive for bed bugs and they wanted to treat my clothes so that I didn't spread anything to the other room. I also asked them to treat my luggage which they did willingly. I ended up deciding to leave the hotel for another one just for piece of mind. I ended up with some major swelling from the bites and had to go to the doctor while in SF. CHECK THE BEDS!

No bedbugs! We checked in on 8/21/2012, and checked out on 8/23/2012.

I was extremely concerned, given some of the reports I have read on this site, as well as on TripAdvisor. When we checked in, I mentioned my concerns to the woman who checked us in, and she actually acted with kindness and consideration. Upon my request, she looked up our room, and checked reports on it; she found that there had been no complaints with it, or any of the surrounding rooms above, below, or beside it. (Our ro

om was on the 15th floor, in Tower 2.)

I'm so relieved to report that we had a terrific experience at the Hilton Union Square!

No bed bugs!! I was a little scared after reading reviews. We stayed in the new rooms. The hotel was great and had no complaints. : ) : )

Stayed 3 night in Tower-2 and on the last morning before checkout, found a few welts on myself. I looked under sheets and mattress but didn't see anything noticeable, but also have no idea what bedbugs look like. I alerted the hotel supervisor at the time, and she was very apologetic and assured me that the room would be investigated.

I was not offered any type of cleaning service as I have read here with other guests of the hotel, but rest assured, I am taking my luggage directly to the clea

ners when I get home. As for the clothes that I am wearing now? How do I drop them at the cleaners without walking home in a barrel?

Hilton did take a report, and said they would be in contact with me. I await their reply.

I stayed at the Hilton Union Square for 3 nights during the week. I checked in on Monday and by Tuesday afternoon I was extremely itchy and had atleast 7-8 bug bites all over (including arms, knees and back). When I returned to the room on Tuesday evening, I had them move me to another room and check out the room - before I left the room, I did see a bed bug on the pillow. Later on Wednesday, the manager did confirm to me that there were bed bugs in the room. Although the

y were helpful about helping me take precautions about not taking it back to my house (which I was most scared about), it was not something I would have expected to encounter at the Hilton!

I stayed for four nights at this hotel. While the staff were helpful and the facilities of the hotel were fine, I received bites over the course of my stay, some of which I noticed after I checked out. I called the hotel after I returned to NYC, and they promised they would check into it. Well, I just received word from the Hilton that my room did indeed have an infestation. Needless to say, this is a huge nightmare for me as I now have to worry about an infestation in my apartment. The Hilton h

as promised to pay for an exterminator to come and see if I have any bed bugs. While I appreciate the Hilton trying to make amends, I will not be staying at this hotel again.

In stayed at this hotel in September, 2010 for an extended period. Not only did I receive bits once, but three different times in two different rooms. The management claimed that they came to my room to inspect it and it was clear of bugs. The only problem was that the day that they claimed to come to the room, I was there all day doing work and no one showed up, but they did have a written report that the room was clean.

I stayed here for a major conference in December 2009 and brought bugs back to NY with me. I had bedbugs burgeon out in my room and home for the next year. It was a freaking nightmare. I didn't know how to deal with them and went to sleep rigid with fear. These bites are suicidally itchy. I eventually got out of that apartment since the management was NOT helpful at all and only after I left said they would exterminate. This conference was the beginning of a horrible time for me. Have mercy!

Woke up in the morning to discover a bug crawling in my bed. When I killed it with a tissue, blood came out of the bug, which then prompted me to search the sheets for others. I then found another smaller bed bug. I showed no symptoms of bites until a day later, when I noticed two red welts on my hand and forearm. When I alerted the hotel management and staff, they were unalarmed. In addition to being unhelpful, the manager was rude about the situation as well. 10/8-10/9

My name is Maria Frias from Hilton San Francisco Union Square. I just recently found out about this website. A lot of this posted in your website are not true. If you would like to confirm the following rooms, The name of the company is Pestec.

Bites all over; 5 horrific nights, 2 doctors, Room 1-3582. Awaiting their report...

Stayed at this hotel several years ago, and managed to take several bugs back to my apartment in Boston. It took several weeks to rid my apartment of the infestation (had to dispose of bed, furniture, cases, etc, etc). FYI exterminators cannot kill BB - their chemicals do not work - my bedroom was bombed twice, and i located the bugs afterwards, and they were still healthy, fast and ready to feast. To this day i'm still paranoid about bed bugs.

Advice: check your hotel bed before you slee

p in it (under the sheets at the corners of the mattress) and keep your case off the ground (on the metal frames if possible)

I stayed at this hotel Monday through Thursday for several months from September 2008 to February 2009, in different rooms each week. I occasionally suspected bed bugs from itchy spots but could never find evidence. This morning I found a bed bug carcass/shell in my bed at home, so now I have to deal with an infestation at home.

I stayed at the Hilton, San Francisco, room 3-1831, from February 15 through February 19. By day two, I was noticing bites - 10 -15 or so, and by the fourth day, I could no longer deny I was being bitten by bed bugs (tried to convince myself otherwise as I did not want to have to deal with the fact that I now had to deal with what might be on me, in my clothes, suitcase, etc.) Reported the issue to the hotel manager, so that something could be done before other guests might be booked into this

same room. The manager assured me the room would be 'Sealed and checked for bed bugs."
