I stayed at this hotel on Oct 9th to Oct 12th 2011. I did not notice anything unusual until a few days into my stay. I got what I thought were mosquito bites. I came home on Thursday and because it was late left my suitcase in my room on the floor by my bed. I started getting bit by something within a couple days. I was certain it was a mosquito in my house, although the weather here has cooled off and that was odd. The bites continued every night. I knew something was amiss as a mosquito will s
top biting at some point. I mentioned the bites to my daughter who promptly said 'bed bugs'!! Seems she learned about them in school. No way. I have lived in my house for 16 years and would not just suddenly get bed bugs. Then she reminded me I ha just returned from my trip to San Francisco. I read about be by on the Internet and saw reports about how you can bring them home from a trip. I still did not believe it (or maybe did no want to believe it). We looked all over my bed and sheetsand found nothing. I kept getting new bites every night. Tonight I woke up and had a new fresh itchy bite and turned on my be room light. I pulled the covers off the bed and searched with a flashlight. I was about to give up and saw a bug in the side of the mattress. I quickly smashed it between my two fingers and blood. I knew what it was then. I have no doubt these bugs came home with me from the hotel. I have no traveled for more than six months and have never been bitten until after I returned from my trip. If I had known I would never have left my suitcase on the floor by my bed for a few days. I literally just allowed them to infest my house. I am not even sure how many there are. I kept my suitcase on a cabinet in the closet at the hotel. I hung up some of my clothes in the closet. They must have been on my night gown and I put that in my suitcase each morning. I will suggest that before you cone home from any hotel you wash all clothing in super hot water.

Was in the city for Dreamforce. Stayed 8/30/11 - 9/2/11. Wonderful hotel. No bugs! Sleep in peace.

Stayed 5 nights, 7/25-7/30 in 2 different rooms (both recently renovated), no bugs whatsoever - bed bugs or otherwise.

Once we learned of your concerns, we immediately removed the room from service and contacted a nationally recognized pest control expert to conduct a thorough examination of your guestroom. That examination failed to find any trace of bed bugs.

My husband awoke to several red welts on his forearm. We reported the bites to management and were moved to a different room.
