I just wanted to say, I am very impressed with the manager at this hotel, being so honest. I think people would trust hotels more if the managers were this honest. Thank you Matt for your honesty, I would feel very safe staying in any hotel that you were manager.

This blogger is correct. However, as soon as were aware that we had bed bugs in room 215 we took every measure to get rid of them.
We had a guest check out that had flown in from New York, who had been in room 215 for over a week. Upon his checkout the room was put out of order for a deep cleaning (a standard operating procedure for any room occupied over a week), and it was then that our housekeeping team noticed the bed bugs. We immediately called a very well known and reputable pest contr
ol company to have room 215 and the surrounding rooms treated. After their treatment we were told that the bugs were eradicated and that we could sell the room again. The guest above was the first person to whom we rented the room. After he departed we noticed that there were some bugs back in the room, and we were appalled!
We did not call back the same pest control company, because clearly they did not solve the problem, and instead called another highly reputable company. They had us put the room out of order for two weeks so that they could treat the room extensively. We purchased a brand new mattress, box spring, bedding and curtains for the room. Since the treatment, the room is completely clear of all bed bugs, and we have had no further complaints.

Room number is 215. On the first night, I noticed one blood spot on the sheets. On the second night, I woke up around 2 am with numerous bites and could actually see the bed bugs.
