Did a thorough bedbug check upon arrival without finding anything. Stayed 3 nights without problems/no bites.

To be fair the hotel was mediocre (really bad pillows, and the carpet in the room felt like it was from 20 years ago). Only reason to stay here was the rate and wanting to be north of San Fran.

Wouldn't shock me that it was a bedbug haven in most rooms and I count myself lucky.

We had a reservation here for October 2010. When we arrived we immediately checked for bedbugs and found several live bugs in the area where the mattress meets the frame. We immediately went downstairs without opening our luggage and asked for a refund. When the employee asked why, we told him we found bedbugs. He didn't sound shocked or deny it, and the money was refunded through the site we booked the room through (I think it was Expedia) within a couple of hours. We drove all the way back to
