Tim Ellis General Manager on 04/15/2011
I am General Manager of the Palm Mountain Resort and I would like to respond to the anonymas (I dont like people that hide)posting in mid march. I recall this complaint very clearly. I put the room out of order and immediately called my pest controll company. There was absolutely no evidence of bed bugs in this customers room. I sent her a copy of the report and I have never heard of her again.
We have a proactive approach to bed bugs at our hotel. Once a quarter we have a dog that sniffs for b
ugs!
Bed bugs are everyware, and can live for very long periods of time until re feeding. There move around in customers luggage or cling onto our clothes.
No one, including myself wants bed bugs! I am doing my best as a manager to be as pro active as we possibly can. I intend to keep my prevention program going.

A friend and I stayed here from March 12-15 and we didn't think of checking for bed bugs but found bites when we got home. We called them to tell them that they had bed bugs in the room we stayed in. They said they'd call us back but never did.
