Stayed two weeks ago for two nights in the Obsidian room. Noticed blood flecks on my pillow after first night. Didn't quite know what to make of that. Also small black dots on white headboard. Next morning I woke with small bites on my legs but I thought they were from sand fleas from the beach the day before. Got home Sunday night and had three huge bites in a row across my back. Put my clothes in hot washer right away but over next few days noticed more small bites at home. Spoke with male innkeeper by phone two days after I got home and he said the've never had a problem but he would have an exterminator look at the room. Two weeks later I have infested bedroom. I'm in process of getting extermination done for $ 1500 or more. I noticed they still rent out this room but don't know if it was treated, did not ever get a call back. I really loved this place and had a great weekend except for bugs. I know in the hotel industry this is hard to prevent but the inn should ha e better inspections prior to letting guests stay.
