Stayed during the summer of 2010 and developed characteristic straight lines of itchy bumps on my ankles and legs. I got a few bites on my shoulders as well. Although the amenities were comfortable, these parting gifts were not. I would caution future guests against staying here.

I stayed at the Century Plaza for a corporate convention last month in September. We all raved about the cleanliness of the hotel. I travel a lot, personally, and my colleagues and I meet annually for this conference. I'd definitely stay here again ... and, no, they don't have bed bugs for heaven's sake! Get a grip people.

We take every report of bed bugs very seriously. If a guest reports that he or she may have found bed bugs, we take swift action. We immediately remove the room from service and call in a nationally recognized pest control expert to investigate the room and take all steps necessary to address the situation.

I visited back in July 2009 and experience my first encounter with waking up to scores of bed bug bites. The location was great, however I will not return as the bites took several weeks to heal from.
