I just stayed @ Hyatt Grand Champions resort Sept. 18th-24th. The room was not in great condition. There was a gap between the carpet and the wall approx. 1/2", and the bathroom was very dirty.I had them deep clean the bathroom immediatley upon finding urine on the floor!
Monday morning (Sept. 19th) I noticed my first bite between my finger and thumb. It resembled a flea bite, but itched much more. As I left the Hotel each day, I didn't feel the itching as much. Upon returning to the Hote

l each evening the itching started and I noticed more and more bites as the week progressed, but primarily when I was in the room. Everyday while there I was in the room from about 7:00 P.M.- 9:00 A.M., then out working. The longer into my stay the more I itched, and now my scalp itches as well. I have not unpacked my bags yet, and heard from a friend that depending on what kind of bug it may have been that killing them is different for each bug species.
What should I do? My scalp still itches, my skin still itches, but the scabs are healing and I haven't noticed any new scabs from bites. Could there have been multiple kinds of bugs?
There were no matress pads on the matresses! I thought Hotels were required to provide water proof matress covers to protect customers! When I inquired I found out that the Hyatt offers an allergy room for an expensive price! This Hotel has some kind of filthy bugs....I just don't know what!
