started staying at the days inn oct 21st 2007. the night of oct 25th i received a "bug bite" while staying at the hotel. It was three little bites in a row. I disregarded the bites thinking I was allergic to the hotel soap/ cleaning agents because there were three in a row... On the 27th I woke up with 120+ bug bites. I asked the people I was traveling with and they also had bites. Clearly not as bad as I had. I looked on the internet for bed bug pictures and sites and sure enough that's what it was. Bites from forehead to little toe. The manager refused to make an incident report. The manager blamed the bed bugs on my dog, a 3 yr old jack russel that doesn't stay outside. Later on that day I saw a cockroach climbing the wall. I have pictures of that and the bites and the bugs in the hotel bed. It was pretty disturbing. The manager offered me another room, first thing I did was flip the mattress to find a dirty condom. The socket covers weren't on the walls, where obviously every bug from the inside of the wall was getting out. What made it the worst, the manager, Bill, blamed me.
