I thought the worst was over but one week after checking out, more than 100 bed bug bites showed up and started to itch on my body. I did not realize the delay between exposure evidence of the bites.

After the experience I posted earlier, I was gratified to find the management very responsive. My clothes were laundered, my luggage replaced, and I received all of the details I requested about any previous infestations (one) and how they were handling the rooms. The compay who treats the rooms (ECO LAB) seems reputable and the house cleaning staff are trained. I actually stayed at the hotel 2 nights after this because I was persuaded that the hotel and staff have been trained in appropriate

treatment response. I would rather work with a responsive and a known entity than with a hotel that may not be disclosing things or hiding things. These days it not a matter of if but when you will be exposed, and not everyone notices. I was impressed with all aspects of the way this property responded.

On 01 March 2012 at 2 in the morning I woke up feeling something crawling on me. I found about 10 of them in my bed and called the front desk. He came up and put all of the bedding in a bag. I asked him if he was aware of this problem. He said that they had a problem several months ago but that he thought they had it under control. I go the name of the General Manager and told them I expect to be compensated.
