This happened in 2007. Stovepipe Wells at the time was managed by Xanterra for the National Park Service. It is the only motel around that part of the park. The room we were in was completely infested by bed bugs. We found them quite easily in the seams of the mattress and when I pulled up the coverlet several just fell onto the sheet. I collected one in a ziploc plastic bag and showed it to the front desk. They were very accommodating and tried to give us another room, but we left Death V
