I stayed at this motel January 7,8 and 9 of 2011. I checked in on a Friday and went to sleep. The next day I noticed I was itchy and it felt like flea bites. As I lay reading and watching t.v. in my bed I noticed a small reddish bug crawling around my book by the headboard. I killed it and a dark smear was left on the white sheet: my blood, I presume! I was so distraught at the fear of more bugs in the bed that I slept in the bathtub fully clothed that night with only a pillow; I was too scared
to bring any blankets into tub with me because I didn't know if they were infected too. Finally, at 1 I was so uncomfortable in tub that I opted to sleep in the bed again, this time curled up in a protective fetal position with NO BLANKETS and FAR AWAY from the headboard. The next day I told the front desk clerk and she made no comment whatsoever; just pretended she didn't hear it. I had to stay another night and so requested a different room. I saw no further bugs in the new room but was still itching from the last room. I checked out at 2a.m. As soon as I got to a computer with Internet I did a Google Image Search for 'bed bug' and there was the small reddish bug I had killed the previous night...it was a BED BUG indeed. I will probably continue using Motel 6's only because I'm not rich and can't afford to be picky...but I will never again sleep in peace in ANY motel. :( I am fairly upset about this because I used to love and recommend Motel 6. No more.

My husband and I stayed at the Motel 6 on Daily Street in Camarillo, CA, Thursday, October 2, 2008. Assigned Room 123. Yesterday, Saturday, October 4, I was diagnosed and treated for bed insect bites at the Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center,in Las Vegas, Nevada where I was informed, that I had suffered an allergic reaction. The physician's prescribed medication and follow up within 48 hrs.
My next appointment is Oct.10, 2008. When I arrived home and removed my cl
othes, on October 4th, I saw my shoulders and arms full of bites. Since then, the bites, I have noticed them on my neck, face, shoulders, arms, hands, back and legs. I'm so miserable, and severly bitten to death.

I'm contacting you so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I have filed a verbal complaint with
corporate, who stated this morning, I will be hearing from corporate "at-risk division,in 15 days or less". Please contact the management immediately for santitation of all other customers and guests at this location. I regret to have to inform you of this crisis,but it is severe at nature and health threatening, so I know you will appreciate my immediately contact to corporate.
This has caused me tremendous amount of discomfort, no sleep from the consistent itching and caused anxiety to my health and emotionally causing me stress from not being able to work, babysit or care for new born 7- week-old and 14 month old grandson's.
