I just stayed there 2/3/12 and I was bitten by bedbugs. I called and told them my doctor diagnosed the bites as from bedbugs. They told me they will bring in an exterminator to test and let me know the results. I already know the results..duh.


I stayed at this hotel (Residence Inn, 321 S 1st Street, Burbank, CA) with some friends. While at this hotel, I was bitten by bed bugs all over my neck, back, and arms. This is the first time I've ever been bitten by bed bugs, so I was really confused when I discovered myself covered in red welts. After doing some research, I realized the bites were definitely from bed bugs.

I complained to the manager Marvin Monrrigo, who was very belligerent and rude. He yelled at me and accused me of brin

ging the bed bugs into the hotel through my luggage. I have never in my life experienced bed bugs before coming to this hotel, so while there is a small possibility that the bugs could have come from the airport, it is far more likely that I got them from the bed I was sleeping in at the hotel. In order to calm the situation, he switched my room and paid for my Benadryl.

All in all, it was a terrible experience. I had to go through a great deal of verbal abuse just to get my room changed and it took a week for my swollen bites to heal. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Two Words, BED BUGS!!!

My girl and I spent memorial day weekend here and found out our room was infested. Staff took a while to responde and chang the room. New room was a downgrade. Upon check out I was presented with the self parking bill. I asked the front desk if they intended to give us anything for our "inconvience" of the bed bugs, so they said, "well we will take care of your parking, that's all," which brought our bill down just a little. I wasn't impressed!!!


Not any more....

The hotel looks good but the bed bugs are horrible and the service of the staff here is HORRIBLE!!!

I did bring it to the attention of the assistant manager, Marvin. He basically wanted to make me quiet in the lobby and I recieved no type of compensation for my pain. Marvin needs to recieve training on how to deal with guests and any reports of bed bugs.


My family was bit by bed bugs at this location and I heard other guests in the lobby complaining of bed bugs as well.
