After 2 nights at the Marriott Burbank I started seeing this welts appear on my neck. When I woke up after the 3rd night my hands and welts all down my neck and shoulders were huge and swollen. I pulled back the mattresses and found a bed bug which I squashed immediately and there was blood that came out which confirmed it.

So far there have been 21 bites that I have found, I was told some may still appear. This was in room 449. We had to wait in the room for housekeeping to come by to co

nfirm it, before they called a specialist in. We were later transferred to another room. I have been told that they took measures to isolate the problem however any additional information was "confidential" and not to be disclosed to me.

This was in November, 2014.

Successive bed bug bites over 5 days in room 515 that I didn't recognize as bed bugs until I googled it.
Mid June 2014.
Now I worry about what I brought back home with me.

Ended up with 3 bites in a line on my arm. Tell tale symptom of a bed bug.

September 20, 2013 I awoke to find a group of twelve inflamed and painful bites on my lower abdomen. To my konwledge I have never been bitten before. My girlfriend and I both abandoned all of our belongings. EVERYTHING. Lingerie, dresses, extra clothes, makeup. We kept only our wallets, phones and keys. I filed a report and wrote in my report that I was not seeking a refund but that i wanted the hotel to agree to exterminate my home should my home become infected. They were super apologetic and

told me they were quarantining my room and having it inspected. they gave me a fifty dollar dining credit. I made sure they gave me a copy of the incident report but I didn't try to get them to refund my money. DISGUSTING HORRIFYING and I had to ABANDON easily over five hundred dollars worth of goods (not even counting makeup) just to minimize risk of infecting my home.

I'm here right now... Having this horrible experiencie with bedbugs at the same hotel " Marruott" 2500 Hollywood Way.
I have these horrible bites right above my chest. It will not stop itching and is very painful! I Work at a public school and in my school we have little kids that have had this problem before. I have seen this type of bites before... That is how I know this is what they are.

I called the front Desk and the hotel manager acted as if this has never happen before... That"s

a lie!!! I was very nice and
It should have been - "Im sorry to hear that .. Is there anything we can do to Help you? I requested another room.

I'"m in room 332 and Im also on the bed next to the bathroom.
I also hope they can fix this problem and I will make sure people know and are aware Of this problem.

Who can you report this to and what else should happen to hold this hotel acountable for this inccident?

I attended the 2-day conference for the California Coalition for Compassionate Care, March 16-17. I spent the night in the hotel in room 612 or 613 with my collogue C. Etland. The reservations were under her name and our San Diego POLST Coalition. I stayed the evening of March 16t and slept in the bed, closest to the bathroom and door entrance. By Thursday evening, I noted a bunch of small bites on the inside of my left forearm, in the crease where you bend your elboe. The area was about a 1 1/2

-2" diameter with lots of small bites and was extremely itchy. I took an antihistamine and put some steroid creme on them and did not think of much of it. I used Caladryl to dry it out and settle down the intense itching and rash that was develpoing. By Sunday, all was not improved and I obviously had an allergic reaction to the bites. I looked up bed-bugs on the internet (at my husband's insistance)and bingo, there they were, just like mine, bunches of bites in clusters of three, as described. I tried reaching my collogue to clarify which room we stayed in, so I could get these reported. Thus my reporting delay, trying to confirm our room number. I am sad to share that the entire rash is not quite gone. I called the hotel to report this yesterday. I believe Brittany (receptionist)seemed more concerned than Jerma (sp?)the hotel manager. She said she would report this to the
director of housekeeping (she did not want details) and the housekeeping perosn would call me for details. I have not heard a word.

I hope this will not happen to anyone else. These are nasty and preventable. Unfortunately, I had my suitcase on the floor, as there were not many luggage holders in the room.

Sorry for the bad news,
NC
ps: I do have photos of the bites
