There was no one at the reception desk when we checked out the next morning, so I left a note about the bugs on a "How was your stay?" comment card. I never heard back from the hotel.

At the time, we didn't realize how serious bedbugs can be, nor were we sure that the bugs we saw were bedbugs, so we didn't pursue it. When we got home, we left all of our stuff outside the house until we'd done some research online. Without a doubt, the bugs in our hotel suite were bedbugs. We took great precautions with our stuff and luckily didn't bring any bugs into our home.
