The room I stayed in was absolutely infested with bed bugs. My friends and I shared a room with two double beds. The first indication of a problem was when I saw a bug crawling on the wall near my bed. I've never seen a bed before before, but my friend knew right away what it was. Hoping it was an isolated case, we decided to stay. After laying in bed for a few minutes, my friend felt something crawling on him. Upon further inspection, he found a bug on his pillow.
I hopped out of my bed, inspected and also found a bug on the pillow I was using. It's now 1:30a and attempted to call the office to report the problem. The phone was dead! This was the last straw. We walked to the office with a bed bug in hand as proof, and demanded a refund.
Now, I thought the bugs would only get on items that had contact with my bed. I inspected a folder that was laying on the TV counter, and found an another 3 bed bugs.
From now on, I'm not going with the cheapest option. I would rather pay more for a peace of mind.
