We were traveling through the West and we stopped by this motel on June 19, 2012.

We went to bed and after a while my husband started scratching himself, to the point we both couldn't sleep, he got crazy with the itching on his skin, on his arms and legs mostly. I couldn't feel anything and we were wondering what it was, an allergic reaction to bites.

My husband finally managed to sleep a little with a sleep aid and an antiallergy medicine.

In the morning, I saw a bug floating in a gl

ass of water by my side. A red, flat bug. I checked on the Internet and it was positively a bedbug.

I showed it to the staff, they pretended we were carrying it with ourselves! We left furious!

Before this night, and after (and we laundered and disinfected all our belongings), we weren't bitten.

I had a cluster of bites on my arm, but it never really itched. My husband had a severe reaction. Without the bedbug in my glass, we would not have a proof.
