Chillin' Canuck on 03/13/2012
We stayed at this hotel Feb 24 - Mar 11 2011.
First thing we did upon arrival was ask desk clerk if they had bed bugs. We were assured that they did not.
About 10 days into our stay, my wife broke out with little sores all over. A Google search confirmed bed bugs. My wife had slept on the sofa bed one night (I snore!) and that's where we suspect it happened, as I did not seem to be affected from sleeping on the regular bed.
We told the hotel, and they gave us another room. However, the
manager was not available until after we returned from our trip. To her credit, she has told us she will refund our entire stay (although we only have her verbal assurance at this point) and will look into reimbursing us for the cost of cleaning our clothes, luggage etc.

RAMADA INN ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER
Found well-feed adult within a minute of checking in, and both beds showed signs of bedbugs. See how fast it is on youtube. Desk clerk was shown live bed bug and told me that housekeeping would have to confirm it was bed bugs before she would do anything about it.
Housekeeping did an expert search of the room. She obviously knew what to look for, how to look for bed bugs and where they would be found. She found tons of bugs under the box spring of t
he first bed she checked. She told the maintenance guy to call pest control.
And then the Ramada just dumped me. No help finding another hotel. Nothing but...here's your money back, go find yourself another place to stay. At the last minute. At a higher price and three hours later I got to a bed-bug free hotel.
