I always use Bedbug Registry before travelling after a horrible experience in San Francisco.
I looked up the Grand Californian and was STUNNED to see there were several reports of bedbugs.
It was embarrassing but I called the hotel to get their take on my concerns. Christian in their Guest Services Department was very patient, very kind, very friendly and very attentive to my questions. He stated that he has never heard of a bedbug report. We arrived on October 13 and went into room 3102. The room was very clean. I saw no evidence of any problems. I was still very careful to follow the steps advised on the bedbug registry website. We had no problems at all during our four night visit. I was pleased with how helpful they were at the Grand Californian.
