April 27, 2012. I travel with my dog so I was given a room for that - no problem. Even though the rate is cheap, I didn't think I needed to check for bedbug but I should have. I went to sleep and was awoken by bedbugs crawling on me. I was too angered to think about taking pictures with my phone but I should have. I got up, packed and went to the front desk at 4:30 am (28th). The front desk clerk didn't have the authority to guarantee a refund nor to check the room and I would have to wait

for 8am to speak with the manager Kevin. I made the room reservations on the Triple A website so I called them to see if they could help. It seems the Triple A rep contacted the EL Manager (this was later in the morning) and said that after they inspect the room, they'll call me to let me know if they found bedbugs and I gave the rep my phone #. I let the Triple A rep know that they'll find evidence because I smeared 4 or 5 of the bug (little ones) on the bed sheets so that whoever looked would see the blood and the bugs. I didn't get a call or a message from the manager even though I know they had my phone #. I eventually called on the 29th and got confirmation that a credit was on my bill and that no charge should appear on my c card. It's the weekend so I'll have to wait another business day to confirm this credit.
