Regarding the posting on this blog above. As General Manager of the Redmont Hotel, myself and my team members are dissappointed that this report was posted. Flight crews travel daily all over the country and stay in hotel after hotel each night. This stay was a Saturday night and was not reported to us until Monday and then it was from there travel agent and not the guest. We did close the room and no pest of any kind were found. His fellow crew memembers have been staying in the same room sinc

e and we have had no reports from any of them. We do follow a protocol and are constantly inspecting our rooms looking for any activity of any kind of bug/pest, we do this in conjunction with house keeping and during regular room maintenance. As everyone is aware, these pests have become a issue in many cities, and public facilities including schools,office buildings, dressing rooms, theatres, airplanes, movie houses, etc. We want all of our guests to know we are working hard to be very proactive in inspection for this problem.
